James has renovated 2 bathrooms & 2 powder rooms in our holiday house. We have been impressed by his workmanship, attention to detail, efficiency & excellent communication. He has kept us up to date with progress, guided us in our decision making and acted as project manager coordinating the other trades. I’ve now had two occasions when I’ve had to call on the services of James (aka “Jimmi”) and his team. The first time I had a blocked kitchen drain Jimmi immediately sent out one of his fellas (Jacka) who sorted it straight away. Several months later we realised we potentially had another problem - one that we realised could quickly escalate over the Christmas New Years period with increase toilet usage (if you get my drift). Anyway, we had been talking about a few plumbing upgrades (outdoor shower and hot water service and proper septic plumbing of our alfresco kitchen) so we called on JR’s services again. Much to our surprise the response to “come and have a look” was almost immediate. This time Jimmi and Kieran rocked up, had a look at the job, poked around and stuck their cameras up pipes - dug here and dug there. Before long they had sussed out what needed to be done and discussed this with us. We indicated we had a pretty critical time frame for the work to be done as the job (which ended being a completely new septic and leach drain system) was going to make the whole place a mess and unusable over the duration of the project. Jimmi understood this and then to our amazement locked in a date to squeeze us in. On the date he promised everything happened (trucks, excavators deliveries etc etc) and then - within the timeframe he promised, the job was done. For those who have tried to get jobs done by trades know how rare a thing this is AND/BUT the biggest thing about how this project rolled out was how the service was delivered. Jimmi, Jacka and Kieran were just such hard working guys. Super respectful and personable and very “extra mile-ish”. We were trying to get a couple of jobs that were related to the project sorted (like digging in a soakwell for the outdoor shower). We’re no plumbers but all of them were so generous with their tips and assistance and, in the end, plumbing fittings, that we were able to get the jobs done really quickly and easily.Jimmi and his team (Jacka and Kieran) are not just great plumbers - they are great people. I rarely write reviews but I thought that in this instance the wholeof the South West needed to know that these guys rock!

James has fixed a number of leaks and faults on our property over the last few years. He is honest, reliable and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. He cares about his customers and the quality of his work, which is always reasonably priced and completed to the highest standards. I really can't recommend this guy highly enough and wouldn't think of using anyone else. If you have any kind of issue with your plumbing or gas, James is the man to call.

James turned up within half an hour of a call on a Sunday afternoon, where a blocked septic pipe threatened to ruin our weekend away. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and resolved the issue promptly.Wouldn't use anyone else having had this experience and can't recommend him enough.

We found ourselves in a spot of bother requiring new leech drains for the first time since building many years ago. These guys were fantastic. Called with a blocked drain; they turned up 30 minutes later in the pouring rain and worked diligently until the job was finished. Highly recommend.

We arrived home on the Monday of a long weekend and could hear water running, and subsequently located the burst pipe. I called James and he did not hesitate to advise he will be at our home shortly. I first met Jimmy in March 2018 when he installed an extra Leach drain after cleaning up the other two on the property. The job was done to such a high standard and the decision to put the extra drain in at the time, saved us thousands of dollars.I have since called Jimmy to replace our Water Tank Pump, New Gas Hot Water System, install my dishwasher and repair the cistern in my toilets.When the gas was delivered, the driver asked me if the unit was new and told me he was very impressed with who ever installed it, “Nice to see a job done properly” he said.So in saying that.....J.R.Plumbing is the place to call for a quick, reliable, cost effective, friendly plumber, I wouldn’t use anyone else.Thanks Jimmy, it’s a pleasure doing business with you!
